Presents menus to guests and answers questions about menu items,
making recommendations upon request. Is thoroughly knowledgeable in
all aspects of the menu, ingredients, and prices.ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:NOTE: Traditions, Inc. may change

seats or waiting areas, and present them with menus and wine
listsAssign guests to tables suitable for their needsDirect guests
to coatrooms and waiting areas such as loungesEnsure guests are
seated promptly, be attentive at all times to guests seated in
waiting areas or loungeInspect dining and serving areas to ensure
cleanliness and proper setupExplain how various menu items are
prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methodsMaintain
contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and guests
to ensure that dining details are handled properly and guests'
concerns are addressedReceive and record guests' dining
reservationsSupervise and coordinate activities of dining room
staff to ensure that guests receive prompt and courteous
serviceSpeak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and
service, and to respond to complaintsReview work procedures and
operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service,
performance, and/or safetyCheck with guests to ensure that they are
enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problemsExplain
how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and
cooking methodsInform guests of daily specialsPresent menus to
guests and answer questions about menu items, making
recommendations upon requestDescribe and recommend wines to
guestsServe food and/or beverages to guests; prepare and serve
specialty dishes at tables as requiredPrepare tables for meals,
including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and
glasswareRemove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and
take them to kitchen for cleaningStock service areas with supplies
such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens, fill salt, pepper,
sugar, cream, condiment, and napkin containers, etc.Take orders
from guests for food or beverages when necessaryPrepare checks that
itemize and total meal costs and sales taxesPresent bills, accept
payments, operate cash registerPrepare cash receipts after
establishments close, and make bank depositsMaintain personal
health and sanitation standards (wash hands when using restroom,
etc.)Review work procedures and operational problems in order to
determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safetyThis
position is located within The Chickasaw Nation's Casinos.OTHER
