We’re searching for a hardworking and personable pool maintenance technician committed to providing our customers with an exceptional experience. Our pool technicians perform a variety of tasks, such as maintaining, cleaning, and treating pools for a variety of customers. You should be comfortable talking with customers and answering any maintenance questions they have. Ideal candidates have experience with pool equipment repairs and preventative maintenance. Compensation: $50,000 yearly DOE Responsibilities: - Use certified pool equipment to clean swimming pools and water filters - Educate customers with tips on how to maintain their pool - Review results of water’s pH levels and add or maintain chemicals if necessary - Maintain record of paperwork and services performed - Skim debris from the water's surface, brush the sides and bottom of the pool, and vacuum dirt and debris from the pool floor - Check and balance chemicals in the pool to maintain proper pH levels - Inspect pool equipment, such as pumps and filters, and report any issues to the supervisor - Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backwashing filters and cleaning skimmer baskets Qualifications: - Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent - Prior experience with pool chemicals, maintenance techniques and equipment, is strongly preferred - Candidate must be comfortable working in harsh weather conditions - Must have a valid driver’s license - Must be able to lift heavy equipment and dexterity About Company Superior Pool Service is a leading provider of pool maintenance, repair, and renovation services.
