in Wichita, Kansas.The Process Control Engineer will provide
technical expertise and project engineering as required to support
the Acme Gypsum Facility capital execution plan and operations. The
Control Engineer will be responsible for the Instrumentation and
Controls project development, design, procurement, construction,
and start-up of various projects within the Complex. The position
requires the ability to manage multiple projects. The role will
have direct impact on safety, cost reduction, and process
improvement at our facilities. This role might require some travel
to other facilities, training, and vendors.The successful candidate
will be provided a signing bonus after starting the new role.

Your RoleProvide conceptual system design for proposed
projectsDevelop engineering and capital cost estimates for assigned
projectsProvide design documentation sufficient for construction,
operations, and maintenanceDevelop and implement programming
guidelines and standardsDesign, program, modify and maintain PLC
and HMI systemsManage implementation of upgrades and new
technologyDevelop and implement control strategiesWork with the
project team and contractors to specify and install systemsCreate
instrumentation and control system specificationsProvide
consultation to facilities and project management on process
controls equipment procurement and applicationsThe Experience You
Will BringRequirements:Experience in Industrial Control Systems
(PLCs, motor controls, control valves, industrial instrumentation
for positioning, flow, level, pressure, & temperature)Experience in
Automation or Process Control to include:PLC programmingAC & DC
motor control experience, including drivesProcess Control
NetworkingHMI/SCADA Maintenance and DesignDemonstrated abilities in
Control System documentation using MS Office and AutoCADWhat Will
Put You AheadBachelor's degree in Electrical, Process Control,
Chemical or Mechanical EngineeringIndustrial electrical knowledge,
including both power (480VAC) and control circuitsServer and PC
knowledge, both Windows and LinuxPrior experience in a plant
maintenance departmentPreferred platforms and standards:Rockwell
Studio 5000 & legacy platforms (RSlogix 5, 500)Siemens S& and
legacy TI505Ignition, GE Proficy iFix, and Factory Talk ViewYaskawa
A1000 and legacy drivesEthernet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profibus
