Job Description:
Waste Connections, a leader in integrated waste services, is
seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Apprentice Technician to join our
team. This position is critical in ensuring operational excellence
in our waste management processes during the second shift. The role
involves maintenance and repair tasks under the supervision of
experienced technicians, supporting our commitment to providing
reliable waste management services to residential, commercial, and
industrial customers. As an Apprentice Technician, you will gain
hands-on experience and knowledge in a supportive environment,
positioning you for a successful career in waste management. Assist
senior technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment used
in waste collection and processing. Perform routine checks and
maintenance tasks as scheduled. Ensure compliance with safety
procedures and environmental regulations. Participate in training
sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge. Support the
documentation of maintenance activities and generate reports as
required. Basic mechanical and technical skills Ability to follow
instructions and work in a team Good communication skills
Problem-solving abilities Physical stamina and strength to handle
