** Under the direction, supervision, consultation and collaboration
of the charge nurse or their designee, the graduate nurse has
temporary authorization to practice nursing, as stipulated by the
Nurse Practice Act within the state of Texas.* Provide nursing care
and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice, as
defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies,
procedures and protocols, as well as facility and corporate
policies and procedures.*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
** Recent graduate from an accredited school of professional
nursing required.* Required to register for RN licensure exam, and
proof must be submitted to supervisor or human resources.* One or
more years' experience as a nursing assistant
preferred.*LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: ** Temporary
nursing permit issued to graduates of professional nursing program
who have not yet taken state RN licensing exam (for the first
time), providing temporary authorization to practice as a graduate
nurse under the supervision of a current licensed registered nurse
within the state where the facility provides services, and within
the standards and scope of practice as defined by the state Nurse
Practice Act.* CPR and SAMA certification required (training
available upon hire and offered by facility).* First aid may be
required based on state or facility.*ADDITIONAL NOTES: ** If an
individual fails to pass the first exam, their job title will be
