Job Opportunity – Cardiac Stepdown RN – Oklahoma Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Lawton, Oklahoma Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Highlights: 33-bed cardiac stepdown unit specializing in STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule-out, CHF, and cardiothoracic post-ICU care Experience with noninvasive ventilation, antiarrhythmic IV medications, and peripheral vascular compromise Manageable 1:4 patient ratio on night shift Flexible scheduling required – no block scheduling available Float opportunities to Med/Surg or ER for CVCU/Med Surg holds Contract start date in January 2026 Requirements: Active RN license in good standing Minimum 6 months of recent Stepdown experience required Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg or Emergency Department as needed Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions Flexibility with scheduling Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work with a diverse cardiac patient population in a well-staffed stepdown environment.
