ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wichita Falls, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work 84 hours biweekly with 72 hour guarantee • Must be agreeable to floating between Med Surg, PCU, and ER holding • Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules cannot be approved • Required to work weekends as needed, which may include most weekends during the contract • Patient ratios: 5 patients during days, 6 patients during nights • 36 hours of orientation required • 2 years of nursing experience required • Travel experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • Epic charting system experience required • Must have nursing license in-hand before start date • Must complete required labs within 72 hours of accepting offer • Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start • Orientation modules average 2-3 hours and are completed during first 16 hours • Care for adult and geriatric patients with MS/PCU overflow diagnoses • Extensive skills required including telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, medication titration, wound care, and respiratory management Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services with multiple specialty units including Progressive Care Unit, Medical Surgical, and Emergency departments.
