Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, voice, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients. Develop treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient, aligning with best practices and evidence-based protocols. Document patient care and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques relevant to their continued care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care delivery. Participate in continuous quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery. Expertise in various assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for speech and swallowing disorders. Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information effectively to patients and their families. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management software. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with a multidisciplinary team. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
