Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our compassionate team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be integral to our mission of providing comprehensive inpatient and home-based therapy. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans that ensure the best outcomes for patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Implement and monitor individualized care plans tailored to patient needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services. Educate patients and family members about communication and swallowing strategies. Maintain accurate patient records and document patient progress. Stay current with the latest therapy techniques and tools relevant to speech pathology. Strong understanding of speech disorders and therapies Excellent communication and inter-personal skills Ability to create and follow through with customized therapy plans Proficiency in using medical software and record-keeping Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
