Job Description General Surgeon Location: Lawton, OK Indian
Health Services Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM and call
every other week. Position Overview Indian Health Services in
Lawton, Oklahoma is seeking a General Surgeon to join a
collaborative, low-volume surgical program. This is an excellent
opportunity for new graduates or experienced surgeons seeking a
predictable schedule, strong anesthesia support, and minimal
inpatient burden. Schedule & Call - Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Shared call: 2 weeks per month - No overnight in-house call -
Supportive, team-based environment Clinical Volume - 8-10 surgeries
per week - 6-10 colonoscopies per week - 2-3 Half day clinics.
Facility Details - 25-bed hospital - Well-supported OR environment
- 2 CRNAs and 2 Anesthesiologists on staff - One other General
Surgeon on staff - Very manageable patient volume EMR - Currently
RPMS - Transitioning to Cerner in late 2025 Pay: 600k per year on
W2. 5k CME. 4 weeks PTO. 1099 - $300 per hour on site and call
back, $40 per hour for on call (on call week has 125 hrs on call so
$5k per week). Licensure & Requirements - Any active U.S. state
license accepted - Board Eligible or Board Certified - New
