About the Role:

We are CrowdStrike, a fast-growing security company that protects our wide range of customers from cybersecurity attacks. Were investing in program managers who are energetic, eager to learn, flexible, and capable of managing large scale/complex engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.

As a Program Manager, youll be responsible for supporting the Endpoint Protection product organization and their various teams, whose mission is to deliver complete endpoint visibility and protection across organizations, via our flagship applications of Prevent, Insight and Device Control. These coupled with supporting and management of our ever-expanding new technologies ensure our continuous evolution of this world-class product. Your primary focus will entail driving the scheduling, scoping and execution of projects for major initiatives, working directly with the Engineering Developers, and the Dev Managers in order to ensure timely delivery against the roadmap. Youll work closely across functional teams (UX, Cloud, Sensor) to collaborate and ensure dependencies are well known, critical issues are identified and driven to resolution.

In order to highlight what would make you a valuable asset to the CrowdStrike Program Management team, we'd like to know what a day in your "project management" life looks like. More specifically, please tell us about ONE project in particular which required your leadership and fortitude to turn the tides of potential disaster. Using an intro paragraph to provide a brief summary of the problem the project was looking to solve and no more than 10 bullet points of "Actions Taken" by you specifically that led to the project's successful outcome.

Responsibilities:

Providing coaching/mentoring to the team in a highly collaborative and empathetic environment.
Demonstrates the ability to discuss tasks with employees in a manner which gives guidance and best practices, but does not dictate implementation.
Creating and driving the project schedule, working with dev management task assignments, and managing schedule progress; from large phases through to detailed tasks, including understanding and managing dependencies.
Collaborating with staff and management of multiple worldwide business units (including subject matter experts, design teams, and technology teams) to clearly identify, explain, and communicate their project involvement, project goals, expectations, and tasks.
Tracks the status of project activities and ensures that schedules and priorities are being met.
Ensures critical issues are identified, tracked through resolution, and escalated if necessary.
Manages daily/weekly project communication and status reporting.
Leads Scrum meetings and creates and follows up on meeting minutes/action items

Key Qualifications:

5+ years of experience working in a program/project management capacity for software development.
Experience with/exposure to large scale platforms (cloud technologies), machine learning, detections and the threat landscape, as well as complex inter-dependent technologies (preferably in the cyber security domain).
Seasoned team coach that manages and alleviates (instead of running from) persistent obstacles Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle and Project Management Methodologies, specifically Agile/Scrum. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework methodology a plus.
Experience owning a program/ portfolio of products/features, scoping requirements, planning milestones, and being an active resource for technical teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Must enjoy consensus-driven environments where collaboration, honest and open communications are paramount.
Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, as part of a team.
Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make logical timely decisions.
Excel with proactively and independently driving for results in small team environments Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
Ability to extrapolate context from complex technical conversations, provide teams w/ valuable summations around action items and next steps.
