Specialist you will be responsible for coordinating production
support activities for all major systems and related subsystems.
Your role is critical to ensuring focus, direction, and creating a
controlled environment for swift resolution of High Severity
Incidents. As an essential member of the team, your
responsibilities involve a technical understanding of architecture
and environments supported.Successful candidates will possess:
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the
ability to effectively and clearly communicate complex scenarios to
non-technical colleagues, internal stakeholders and third parties,
as well as colleagues and business partners
- Strong analytical skills to support synthesis of knowledge and
information out of abstract and varying types of data points
- A strong ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
during time critical and high pressure situations
independently
- Attention to detail and a results-driven
approachResponsibilities:
- Aid in troubleshooting problems, involving the appropriate
resources and ensuring fixes are applied as quickly as
possible
- Effectively facilitate incident bridge participation
- Communicate to executive leadership status and progress of
incident bridges
- Document and track key tasks, impacts, and progress
- Assess priority for major incidents with support teams and
senior IT/Business Leadership
- Consult in debriefs with Problem Management
- Supports changes and proactive monitoring -Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology with
direct experience in incident response
- At least 1 year of experience in ITIL processes
- At least 1 year of Cloud experience -Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of root cause
analysis, risk management and continuous quality improvement
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or aboveAt this time,
